What do you use at home for meal ingredients?

I grew up on beef.

Now it's turkey almost always for any dish that calls for ground meat

I've been using ground chicken lately. A little juicier than turkey it seems.

We use a lot of ground turkey. Cheap and lean meat.

Depends on the purpose, lean ground meat is healthier than regular ground turkey so only use turkey if you prefer the taste or for cost

If you want healthy , use ground turkey breast, but it is expensive and taste like arse, so there is that

I use ground beef (90/10) and drain off the grease after browning well

I've been using turkey some for chili and similar dishes.

I had a good source for a while on ground goat. Lean and clean as could be. I could use it instead of beef on anything except burgers.

I prefer beef, but have been trying to use almost exclusively turkey since it's leaner and a little healthier.

Either but it depends what I'm cooking...ground turkey breast and chicken are both good...just kinda dry...

I use ground chicken vs. ground turkey anymore. Not only is it cheaper but it's not near as dry.

The only time I don't use ground chicken/turkey anymore is if I'm making sloppy joes or traditional meatloaf.

Beef/venison for anything like meatballs or burgers. Casseroles or americanized spaghetti its turkey. It's cheaper and in those type dishes I can't tell a difference.

99% lean turkey from Trader Joe's is great.

Use it for chili

We only buy 96/4 ground beef. It's funny I actually won a chili cook off using 96/4. It was healthy as shite. Lol

If you're browning in a pan and draining, does it actually make any difference what mix you start with?
