There's nowhere to casually watch a game, drink some domestic beers, and eat some wings or burgers. Similar to an Ivar's, but smaller.

Wouldn’t red stick social be considered a sports bar?

Granted, I wouldn’t go, but just saying

So a place for $2-4 beers, and $8-10 hamburger /fries?

Wish I could find that anywhere

Pelican to Mars has a fair amount of TVs and usually a food truck.

This. They always have the games on so if OP wants something dive-y and small scale, Pelicans to Mars is exactly what they are describing.

Mid City Beer Garden has TV's for watching games, and plenty good beer/food...

I agree….. area needs a neighborhood bar like the old George’s on Perkins road… younger crowd has moved in and it would do well….

I like Mid City Beer Garden a lot, but the layout TV wise is terrible. There are about eight seats at the bar that have a good view of both TV sets. And I'm not crazy about their food.

It would be nice if the neighborhood had something like Ivar's or Zee Zee's - those are places with good food and a good TV layout.

Mid city is too intellectual for a sports bar. The denizens want to enjoy their extra hoppy ipa and fusion tapas without being bothered by bread and circus sportsball
