100 Main should be reopening soon. That’s the old Bowie’s location.

People will say Fat Mamas, but it's just gas station tamales.

Cotton alley cafe is where I got my best meal there.

Lol “Nacho Mamas” it’s Fat Mama’s. And I agree the tamales are subpar but I enjoy the margaritas. The Camp is a nice lunch spot and I hear Magnolia Grill is really good for dinner.

The Mag is overpriced Sysco food. The best place in Natchez is Roux 61 then followed by The Camp.

Lol Sysco is one of the largest suppliers of Prime Beef in US. People act like it’s just frozen bag crap

Gus Tinsley taught me in high school and he used to let me take his truck to Pinetta’s about twice a week to pick up his lunch. He paid for mine as well and did that for a different student every year. Great old man.

To Natchez the best hamburger is The Bellemont Shake Shack. Great shakes too as well as fried pickles and Frito pies.

I saw a nacho Mama's in new Orleans today

For Natchez, is Pig Out Inn still in business? It's decent - good by Natchez standards

Pearl Street Pasta is pretty good. Lots of fish and shrimp choices, all with pasta and good salads and other choices as sides. Reasonable prices too.

The Camp is the best food/beer combo in town. It also has an awesome view of the river and is the best place to watch a game on tv.

Slick Rick’s is in the middle of the downtown shopping and also has great lunch food, but without the beer/TVs.

Don’t go to Roux 61. It’s just your stereotypical Southern chain seafood restaurant. Eat downtown and soak up all of the charm you can.

Dinner is all about what you’re looking for. There are multiple great options.

Quality food/river view? Magnolia Grill.

Quality food/good atmosphere? Cotton Alley

Quality (but small portioned) food/great atmosphere? King’s Tavern

Average food (but well portioned)/great atmosphere? Biscuits and Blues

Classy Italian? Pearl Street Pasta

The Carriage House has a fantastic Sunday brunch.

Natchez Coffee Company is a great coffee option.

You really can’t go wrong with any of the places I just mentioned. For a town as small as it is Natchez has a ton of great places to eat and drink.

The Camp is good stuff. Also, Lil Dago’s is the best racially insensitive shopping center Italian food I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend.

The Camp’s fried pickles (chips) mixed with jalapeños, served with a nice ranch, is a darned good appetizer.

The road under the hill has been blocked by high water for several days. You can drive down as far as Magnolia Grill, but the road goes underwater after that. So it’s down and back for now.

Lil Dagos has always been very good but seemed to have gone downhill the last time we went.
Fat Mamas is good for what it is. They have good margaritas and the tamales are ok at best. The cornbread was too dense and greasy for my taste the last time we went. The kids enjoy it.
Pig out is good bbq for a decent price.
Magnolia grill has been good the times we’ve been. I like the Catfish Briars.
