Still good? It's still cold to the touch.

If they're in the shell then no way they're bad. How'd you plan on cooking them? You should get a good feel for when prepping them.

If they don't smell, they are fine.

Then in all likelihood, they're fine. And like someone said, you can probably tell when you start preparing them. If they smell, then ditch them

Eat them.

I put shrimp out on the counter in the AM come home and cook them. Been doing that for 38 years and I'm still here.

You basically just chose a slow way for them to defrost and luckily they are still cold. As long as they don't smell or feel mushy, which I doubt.

1. Trade her in for a newer model

2. Cook then eat the shrimp

Still in shell, shrimp, even if they are just starting to turn will begin changing colors. If you still have heads on, is the fat in the head orange or looking rancid? Even if you've gotten to this point, the meat is likely still fine. People waste a ridiculous amount of food that's just past the "sell date." If you're on the fence about throwing something out, just cook it thoroughly because it would be unusual for a fully cooked shrimp to get you sick. We should all be more worried about food that has already been cooked and old because you can't apply the same heat for the same duration as you would when you're first cooking it. Just my 2 cents and please don't apply this same logic with chicken...
