90% of everything in the DFW metro is over rated including the people and football team
The sooner you adjust for this, it will make dealing with the folks there easier

A co-worker friend who was a serious 3 pack a day smoker told us about the great food at a restaurant she wanted us to try. Dismissing the fact that her taste buds were probably fried we went and tried her favorite dish. It was bad and we ate maybe 20% of our meals.
I didn’t tell my friend that the food was bad. I did tell others that I’d avoid the restaurant though.

Have you ever actually told someone their favorite place blows?
All through college, I worked at a fantastic local restaurant. It was and still is today, a hot-spot in Hammond. The owners were awesome, paid us well, and created an environment for all of us to excel - and we did. Everything on the menu, from salad dressings, soups, sauces, entrees, desserts, we made in house from scratch.
I say all this to ask a question. Why are people so pretentious when it comes to restaurants??

Ferrari’s is not good. Should have went to Bob’s for a Grapevine steakhouse.

the level of salt and seasonings people like varies as much as their taste in a sexual partner.
its fairly common for this to be a point of conflict
its best is to just take note and remember that their taste sucks, and avoid going anywhere they think is great.

I know Ferrari is an incredibly recognizable name for obvious reasons, but it's also one of the ten most common surnames in Italy.
Could just as easily be their family name.

Word of advice OP. You should have eaten next door at Baja Mex Grill and ordered the brisket tacos and the best margaritas in DFW. Or, went to Lahacienda Ranch and ordered the blackened chicken verde. Lastly, if you want steak in DFW, go to Pappas Bros Steakhouse.

So you went to an Italian restaurant in north Texas and got lobster and steak.
You are an idiot and deserve to have a bad meal.

I'm never going to go to a restaurant called Ferrari's. That's fricking ridiculous.
I get the point but Ferarri is a common name in Italy especially in northern Italy. It is also fairly common to see eponymously named restaurants. It would be more uncommon the see a Maserati's but like Ferrari it is likely just the original owner's name with no attempted connection to the car company.

The only steak restaurant I’ll ever go to is Pappas, cause it’s the only place where I’ve had steak better than I can cook.
