I am a skin on guy for fresh, whole fish that is filleted shorrtly before frying.

Edit: mystery solved. Was referring to silver skin.

Yall are tripping... Crispy skin is delicious for really fresh catfish. I go to castnet in nola. Skin on, bones back.

Until I had some good catfish, I could hardly stomach the idea of eating it in the first place.

Eating the skin makes me want to puke. I don't even eat the skin of "good fish".

I don't think catfish skin is even humanly edible. Even by a coonass. OP is pulling out leg.
