Hi C Fruitpunch
Capri Sun drinks
Magic Shell
Tang
Hamburger Helper Western Mac
Waffles, Mrs. Butterworth, and margarine
Swensen's ice cream
sixlets candy
bottle caps candy
Alexander the Grape candy

It was hardcore culture shock for me to stay overnight in the burbs with a friend from day camp, and see stuff like this at his house.

I don't think I've ever had a Capri Sun before.

i'll bet they got a big kick out of the little white kid that couldn't decide if he was black or latino that day ... the ebonics one sentence followed by a little spanish the next must have added up to hours of entertainment ... and then, i am sure they marveled at how the little guy was an expert on every subject possible ..

Roast beef. This was a staple for Sunday dinner after church.

my first thoughts were of restaurant foods that did this and the first one was:

hamburger steak from Piccadilly

"at home" foods would be all the fresh veggies at my grandparents house in the summer... nothing nowhere to get that now. Even when I cook them, they don't taste like Mam-maw's..

I have been craving a chopped beef steak from Piccadilly for weeks. Srsly, I'd steal one from a child at this point.

Bottled Coke

in the little 10 Oz bottles.........

My Grandpa had a Coke Machine in his Mechanic Shop that dispensed these with a lever handle for a nickle..........

On the bottom of the bottle was the name of the city where it was bottled at. My 1st gambling experience was when I was at "Pop's Shop" and all the guys would buy a Coke and throw up $1 per person and bet on who's bottle was from furtherest away..............I was prolly 6 or 7........great childhood memory!!!!!

My grandparents had cokes delivered to them and they had a special refrigerator just for cokes, etc in their garage.

Nothing like an ice cold bottled coke
