Agreed 1000%.
I’m not saying Canes is the absolute best, but at least I don’t feel like I’m about to have a stroke while eating it.

The few times I ate at Zaxby's, I couldn't believe how salty everything was every time. Haven't been back in years.

Yep, grilled Asian salad they sometimes have on the menu is pretty tasty.
Not a fan of the Guthries/Zaxbys/Canes style fried fingers. Zaxbys is a lot saltier than Canes IMO though. The grilled isn’t like that though.

Zaxby's opened right across from Cane's in Shreveport. It soon closed and relocated across town.
I've never eaten at either, but a relative loooved Zaxby's and ate there multiple times a week. He had a stroke.

Cane's tenders, although they have gotten smaller throughout the years, are a lot higher quality than Zaxby's. With that said, I love the sauce selection as well as the larger menu at Zaxby's.

Golden Chick has some damn fine chicken tenders. Too bad there aren't more of them around.

A note about KrispyKrunchy- unless you get it right outta the grease, it is absolute dogshit. Most of those convenience stores will let it sit under lamps for hours and the quality and taste is lost.
