South Louisiana dude here… had it one time coming back from the beach. It was terrible. Could not understand why it’s popular for my brethren to the east.

I feel exactly the same way….and I typically. Like a lot of salt. I like Canes a lot better.

Lived in South Carolina, Georgia and Louisiana where both chains are prevalent. I used to say Zaxbys could match up with Canes. Now I choose to skip a meal if the only option is Zazbys. Place is straight Transportation Secretary Boodyjuice

I can’t lie, I’ve eaten it plenty times and I’ve never once thought of salt. I’ve never heard anyone where I live mention a salty flavor. I don’t associate Zaxbys with salty flavor at all.

Zaxby’s is bad, but Cane’s has dropped as well.
Chick-fil-A is still clearly the best chicken meal, but the prices have shot up and it is definitely a more expensive meal than the burger joints.

Been a minute since I had Zaxby’s. I’ve been going to this other place called Foosackly’s about 200 yards down past Zaxby’s here in Daphne, AL. I can’t recall the Zaxby’s by me being overly salty. I always thought it was just okay for a quick meal. Not great nor
terrible. I will say Zaxby’s has good salads though.
