Only problem with trading is all I have are shitty LA beers that you could probably get anywhere else. Only stuff decent we have to offer is NOLA imo.
I am in LA too, but whenever I travel I acquire beers that are not available here. Go to Mobile and you can get lots of great beers you can't get here.

Most of the St. Arnold lineup is meh. Endeavor rocks though and they are trying.
St. Arnold is more solid than most people give them credit for. Endeavor, Pumpkinator, Bishop's Barrel are top notch. Elissa and Weedwacker are more than solid. Sure they have some misses and stuff that is just meh but pretty much every brewery out there does.

Floated a fresh 5 gallon keg between two Christmas parties in two days.
Headed to the bar to try the new MS breweries soon.

Damn. Is there really nothing better than Hopitoulas in Shreveport? That is a good beer, but there are many better ones in BR.
it kinda is
I guess there is St. Arnold Elissa, and a few of the Clown Shoes IPAs, but there are no great IPAs available in Shreve
or at least none that I can think of at the moment

These are good beers no doubt. Endeavor is one of my favorites. The recent Divine Reserve (don't remember the #) was good too.

I don't think the rest of their lineup is that good. Just my opinion. I give them points for trying new things though and I think they are a brewery on an upward trend.

Is Green Flash up there? Their West Coast IPA is great, as is the Imperial IPA. No Stone brews up there?

hmmm, I think I've seen their regular IPA, but I don't think I've seen the Ruination IPA around
most of the local beers stores have mostly imports, but we just got a new store called Brewniverse, and I talked with the owner, and he seemed like he truly wanted to get a better selection of craft beer here

Green Flash's lineup would be a good addition.

Excellent choice but just make sure you don't grab a bottle labeled "drink by 8/12".... my local store still has some of those on the shelf.

I would put that in my "Top 5 New To Me Beers in 2012" for sure.

Funny thing is, when I had it when they first put it out 6 months ago....on draught only, I thought is was ok. It had no depth to it. But they mist have tweeked something cuz its way better now.
