Congrats! Wish I was still in the BR area. Are y'all still at the camp or living with family?

It's not a stout.
Think of it as a brown ale and you might not be disappointed.

The Belgian Blonde ain't bad. It's a blonde so it's pretty boring but it's plenty flavorful. Got a lot out of the yeast compared to Nola Blonde.

ETA.

Standing here with the timber beast thinking I should have ordered a Timber Beast.

Still at the camp. Spending $700/month on gas. Still much less than a house note.

True.

I bet the wife is begging for civilization again...I just went through it.

Dear God, Please give Tetu the sanity and ability to enjoy a Westy. He really needs this. <fingers crossed>

yes, 17 miles to nearest grocery store. 25 miles to te mall.

The cereal at the convenience store around the corner has cereal 1+ years past sell by date an has taxidermy everywhere (deer, coyote, snapping turtle, raccoon, possum, and fish). It's eerie but my son loves to stop by when we go on our rare runs.

Not quite. It was a nice break. A very quality live nativity. Lots of real animals, music free cookies and daughter got to ride a pony!

ALl is right with the world!

It really is great. I've said this before, but in the context of the "once in a lifetime" chance to get it, it is a must try beer. However, I don't think it is much, if any, better than some other Belgian quads that are readily available and 1/2 the price. Just my opinion.

FBD-Bell's Double Cream Stout

SBD-double Booker's and water while slurping up a dozen raw and a dozen chargrilled at Parrains, where there appeared to be a major DNC meeting I didn't read about in the paper. Fricking packed.

Someone else was saying that too.

Found the date on the endeavor...it was 04/12ish. How long do you generally give an IPA?
What about a DIPA? Does the time differ any?
