Whataburger and DQ in Texas, seems like every small town has at least one of them.

In and out burger. California
Fast, fresh, made to order.
Nothing A extraordinary but really cheap and always B.
Wow do they move product.
Popeye is great but national.
Frish's Big Boy was my favorite in Kentucky a generation or two ago. "Frish's where you don't have to do the dishes".

Speaking of.
The great Darren McFadden was arrested early in the AM hours yesterday. Fell asleep in a Whataburger drive thru in McKinney. Allegedly DWI but who knows. They had to bust his window out to make the arrest.

For here in Nebraska its Runza followed by Culvers
Bro, there's a Culvers coming to Hoover and I can't even tell you how pumped I am! Used to be the closest one was in Murfreesboro. I used to work in Indianapolis and would make a point to stop on Bowling Green, KY just to get Culvers when driving back and forth between there and Bham because that was the first one you'd encounter along I-65. Good choice OP
My favorite regional chain is only in Alabama, Milo's

Del Taco in California
I loved Del Taco. They had some in Texas a few years ago. Yummy alternative to Taco Bell and Cabana.
