Jif Extra Crunchy (wish they would make regular crunchy again) and some sort of berry jam or jelly. I usually have blackberry or raspberry on hand. I've also used Mayhaw jelly and it was great. Some sort of honey wheat bread.

Strawberry Preserves
Creamy Jif
White wheat

I grew up with my dad mixing them in a bowl first before going on the bread. I did it for my boys when they were growing up. Still do it today. I swear it tastes different. Better.

Is chunky better than crunchy?

Toast one side of the bread, the inside, butter it, creamy Jif, strawberry jam. I never do this anymore but it's awesome.

Also one of my kids eats a peanut butter and Nutella sandwich 5 days a week. Looks good to me, but I don't need that.

Calcotron has it. Toast the bread, both sides, lather one side in real butter (not that fake extruded plastic garbage your dieting Grandmother used) which will melt. Cover smooth PB. Jelly of choice.

Where do you find such jelly? It’s like it has disappeared from the face of the earth…

I can't believe it took this long to include bananas.

Smooth PB, Strawberry Jam/preserves, bananas. No preference on toasted/not toasted.

Whatever combo you choose, try griddling like a grilled cheese sandwich.
I generally toast the bread, but are you saying to add butter to a pan?

I was also a creamy guy growing up, but at my older age now, I prefer the little crunch.

My wife can't eat a PB&J without putting potato chips on the sandwich. I'm not a big PB&J guy, but I like Jiff creamy peanut butter and either apple butter or a homemade peach butter my mom makes.

Any love for the peanut butter, mayo, and banana sandwich? Grew up on those.

I understand to a point. I request having a chip of some sort on the side to offset the creaminess. Like a cheese it, goldfish, pretzel, etc.
