My mom would make fold-over sandwiches with weird things. Potato salad. Cold spaghetti. White beans. One slice of Evangeline Maid, scoop of potato salad. Fold it over.

Mayo in my red beans & rice, dip my hot sausage in mayo when eating it with rb&r.

Also dip my fried pork chops in mayo.

Yellow mustard on top of red beans and rice

yep. Was coming to post this.

Try Crosse and Blackwell Chow Chow.

They don’t make it quite the same as they used to.

Anytime my mother served beans there was always tobasco, Lea&Perrin, and Chow Chow on the table.

I loved spaghetti and white bread sandwiches and red beans and rice sandwiches. Gotta slather the bread with butter first

We ate this all of the time growing up, sometimes used pineapple or peach instead of the pear

I used to love to dip butter flavored microwave popcorn in Dr. Pepper. Haven't done it in years though.
