Albasha for me, although Poboy Times on Chimes St. is a close second.

Zorbas is probably the best, but Albasha is my favorite.

Poboy Times actually has solid Greek? I’ll give it a shot. I sometimes get their huge sandwiches when I’m hungover.

I’m team roman’s, but I’ve been told zorbas is the best by a few people. I enjoy Albasha though I think it’s slightly overpriced when it’s not lunch.

Serop’s is third tier, nice portions though. I like the express minus their terrivle pita bread

Almaza is absolutely terrible.

Albasha is good but depends on the location. I always liked the one on Bluebonnet back in the day.

There's a new-ish spot called Zoorna that's pretty good--I think that's on Siegen.

Zorbas is awesome.

Atcha's not bad and hasn't changed since I was in school in the early 2000s but their prices are still the same too so that's cool.

Years ago there was a spot in Denham called LaShish. Food was great but the service was spotty and the place underwent facelifts a few times. They were always empty so not sure if they're still in business but their food was worth the drive.

I'll agree that it's a bit of a hole in the wall and ugly, but the food is always good to me

Zorbas is on a completely different level than all the other places in town. Serops, Romans, etc are all more like fast-food Greek/Med whereas Zorbas is a legit sit-down restaurant. You haven't eaten Greek food until you do Zorbas' wine dinner.

For the more fast-food type, I have really enjoyed Halal Guys. That sauce is good and watch out, doesn't take much of the red sauce to light you up.

Has it really? How long has it been around? I haven't eaten at any of these places in a couple years so all my info could be horribly outdated.

You do realize that Greek food and lebanese food are not necessarily the same thing. Both are a type of mediterranean food but are not the same. I dislike the fact that Lebanese restaurants use the word greek when explaining what they sell.
