I had a very similar experience. Spent hours in the ER with severe abdominal pain and vomiting. They ended up taking it out... I was down about 9-12 days. Definitely try to get lots of bed rest for that first week. Don't rush to get back in the gym, especially any abdominal/ core workouts. You don't...
