French Truck. I have been ordering several varieties at a time and they deliver within a couple days.
I just finished a bag that was one of their blends. It was the best coffee I've ever had but can't remember which one it was
My go to is their LE GRAND COQ ROUGE.
ETA: they are local to BR and NOLA

I usually get Seattle's Best Post Alley (#5). Typically on sale for $4.99 lb, which is a bargain.

This is one of my favorites. They are a small batch roaster out of Baton Rouge. I also really like the Parish State of Mind. They also do a cold brew that has good reviews but I don't like cold coffee.

My everyday coffee is Community Breakfast Blend. Last time we were down at Jefferson Island, I picked up a bag of Orange Island that was really good. I drank it on weekends when I Could sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee. Not bad black, but even better with a touch of sugar and half & half

Best coffee I've ever had.
But it's too expensive to drink all the time, so I'll usually do French Truck or Mojo. I lean more towards the single origin selections and I grind my own beans.

holy cow do you drink the entire pot yourself? i don't know how people drink drip coffee in those quantities. i have two espressos and i am good. i think if i had that much liquid in the morning my stomach would explode!

I've had Death Wish ... it's been a while, and I don't remember too much.
Coast Roast from the Mississippi Gulf Coast is good ... not sure where to buy it other than their stores/online. Congregation Coffee out of New Orleans is pretty good for another local roaster.
However, I really like Lavazza ... it's an Italian Roasted coffee, available at Albertson's/Winn Dixie ... maybe Rouse's. I'll buy that if I feel like a smoother coffee and I can't find anything local.

Just saw this response. No, that is consumed by the wife and I. She will drink one cup-----mug actually and it uses up about 1 1/2 cups from the pot to fill it.
I also drink from a mug and to fill my mug takes the pot down 2 cups, and I will drink about 3-4 mugs in the morning.
I am retired, so there is no hurrying up to get ready for work even though I do stay busy around the house maintaining things and such. And yes, I do test the porcelain from time to time with all that coffee.

French Truck Guatemala and Reve Ethiopia are my current favs.
PS if you like French Truck, Robert Fresh Market on Claiborne has the freshest bags and lowest price I’ve seen in NOLA (which is surprising since they are way expensive for general groceries). Le Grand Coq Rouge is $10.99. In addition to their coffee aisle there’s a big display of FT coffees in the back left corner of the store. They don’t carry the seasonal blends though.

Pretty much any local/recently roasted medium roast if I'm being honest. I'll take a random bag from that category over any specific roaster/variety that isn't fresh.
I like Costa Rican Tarrazu, but hard to get it really fresh. Cafe Britt is good, but even the Coffee Bean Direct/Fresh Roasted Coffee Company stuff on Amazon holds up reasonably well.
