I had a Mitchell that came with some free cardboard and eggshell stuck to it. I don’t know what you’d call that.

Alligator Bar on Bayou Manchac. We used to go out there on Sunday nights for the free red beans and rice.

I went there a few times with my college roommate, and we would be the only white boys there. We would get beer, but most everyone else had a bottle of Seagram's Gin on the table.

I went there to see his son Chris long ago and I bumped into Chris a couple of years ago when he was here in town and played at the Stone Pony. Frenchie passed me "mistake" orders cause I was poor.
Unfortunately, sugar butter bread, my own creation, was my primary food of choice in college. Oh, and employee meals at Godfather's.
Oh, and the Cajun Blaze still rules.
