Bono's Pizza.

Great prices, good pizza. Unfortunately they closed right as I started at LSU.

Why am I the only one who remembers this place?

Speaking of pizza, a friend of mine had his mother's credit card, and he practically lived at Gatti's and Upstairs Godfather's. I mooched off him occasionally

Rax -- I still have some of their coupons somewhere

Hopper's

Round The Corner

The Caterie for lunch -- Didn't really discover this until long after college, but their Catfish Acadienne was one of BR's great unsung deals

Godfather’s Pizza on College Drive was my place to take my date after LSU football games. Tickets were free then for students and the pizza was $10. Pretty cheap date.

Does anyone remember the 39 cent Hamburger stand on Nicholson by Tiger Stadium? Lived at that place. Pretty sure I got a parasite once there. Sent me to the infirmary.

The old Louie's location had a certain....je ne sais quoi that the new location hasn't quite replicated.

Chimes was cheap(ish) and convenient.

Bamboo House on Sherwood was my favorite. ("Numba Five, pick up prease. Numba five.")

Also liked Grady's American Grill, Chalet Brandt, Sicily's (one on Sherwood and one on Florida)

I was coming to post Bono’s. A buddy of mines girlfriend waited tables there. She would call us when a mistake was made and we would run over there and get a pizza for free.
Very good pie.
