Does San Francisco have bars that open early? Like early enough for the Vandy game?

I researched a bit online today, but didn’t see anything. I saw something about the North Star being a place to watch LSU games, but wasn’t sure if that was still true. Also... if they would even attempt to open up that early in the morning.

Look for bars that show soccer games. They'll be open at like 6am for the European matches.
Plus all the weirdos should be gone by 11am kickoff.

North Star is still the place. Idk if they'll be open but the LSU Alumni of Northern California facebook page usually posts where the watch party will be a few days before the game.

The Bitter End was a go-to bar in San Francisco...they serve a mean Mixed Grill breakfast and definitely have TVs. It’s a neighborhood joint with good feel.

Another question would be do they have the SEC Network? If not, it doesn't matter when they open. That may be your bigger hurdle as not every place may have a package that carries the network. Check that first.
A few years back I was in NYC on opening weekend of college football. After a few stops at different places in Greenwich Village I was able to find only one bar that had the SECN. And that bar had a game on only one TV. The rest of the dorks in there were glued to the US Open (tennis). Don't underestimate how little people in large metropolitans (particularly SF) care, in general, about college football.
I'm sure you can still find a place, but there probably won't be many

The Northstar does for sure... they are the LSU Alumni watch place and one of the others that Zap sent says you can watch any conference.

OP I’m just posting that I hate you for being in SF and enjoying not balls hot weather.

Hopefully I don’t step in shite on the sidewalk or get a needle in my toe!
No flip flops this weekend!

Off topic: when we lived there we loved watching folks in this club run their RC boats. IDK if you can catch it, but if you can it’s a very unique, surreal, beautiful thing. In a city it’s just so damn tranquil and peaceful. Everyone walks slowly with the quiet sailboats. There’s got to be YouTube videos out there, but I doubt they can capture the magic.

It’s more peaceful than the Japanese garden, though that’s nice as well, IMO.

North Star Cafe is listed as the official watch party site. You would have to assume they’ll be open for the game.
I’ll be in Seattle, and their watch party site (Canterbury Ale House) is opening around 830am.

Been to North Star twice for LSU games and had a great time at both.
Terrific crowd and super friendly and hospitable. Food was pretty damn good that the almuni group cooked.
I'd give them a call: Couldn't find a website so FB link: North Star

The easy way is to research bars that support a certain college/university. For example, Ace’s is a Wisconsin bar in SF. I’ve been a couple times for games when I’m out there and it opens at 6:00a.

Hotel bars? Especially if the hotel bar is inside the restaurant. The restaurant would likely still be serving breakfast at kickoff, which means it would be open.
