When I lived in Wyoming, Old Chicago served a drink called a Black and Tan or maybe a snakebite. Either way, it was hard cider with guiness floated onto it. It was something that I enjoyed after three or four Guinness just to change the pace a little. After a few straight Guinness you tend to feel a little bloaty.

Tap, from a reputable taproom that I know ensures that the beer is fresh.

The places I go to has clean glasses. They have a dishwasher in the bar and they rinse the glass before they pour.

The worst is getting tap beer at a ballgame where some minimum wage worker doesn't know how to work the tap. Last week I ordered one, and it foamed over quickly. She had to pour it out and fill it again. Only the keg was now empty, and she had to walk down to another tap. I saw it almost foam over and she had to pour some off the top and fill it again. 3 tries just to put some beer in a plastic cup.

Better hope they clean those tap lines often. The shite that comes out of those are worse than any dirty glass that I've seen.
Oh yeah and I prefer tap.

Again, this is why I drink at reputable tap rooms who's primary business is selling beer. they clean their tap lines regularly. I hate going to a restaurant and ordering a great beer and tasting that funk - knowing that the funky taste is probably because the tap line is moldy.
Someone posted that Bonefish Grill has GitM on tap. I'm not saying that Bonefish Grill has dirty tap lines, but selling beer is not their primary business, and they probably aren't as anal about keeping the lines pristine.

Doesn't matter. It's going to end up in a glass either way.
