Are there any restaurants in the BR area making a true deep dish pizza?

ETA: Looks like the "Craft & Crust" Rotolo's location on Burbank has some.

The one from RC&C is actually pretty good.

RC&C

It’s ok, but it’s not consistent

The first time we went it was good, the second time was really, really gross.

I had theirs. It was a decent deep dish and pretty much the only option in Baton Rouge. I'm not a huge fan of Rotolo's sauce, so that's what kept it from being more highly rated by me.

Rotolo's Craft and Crust is pretty good. I feel like they might be par-baked though because when I order mine, they come out in like 15 minutes which leads me to believe they pre-bake them some kind of way. In Chicago it takes like 45 minutes to get one.

Honestly, when we're craving deep dish (and don't want to drive to Metairie), we get a frozen Gino's East from Albertsons. We've tried rotolos, but prefer the frozen.

We like Giordano's so much we actually ordered from their website once. Not as good as the restaurant but still pretty good.

That’s Amore in Mandeville is worth the drive. Fantastic deep dish that takes all of 45 minutes so call it in on your way and enjoy it there. The owner came over and served us the 1st two slices and the cheese stretched for several feet. Fun experience

I haven’t been there in years but doesn’t BJ’s Brewhouse make deep dish pizzas?

That’s how BJ’s started; they were a pizza place first. And yes, they have deep dish.

One thing I miss about Indianapolis is deep dish pizza. Lou Malnati's and Giordano's both had locations nearby to where I lived. Ultimately, living in Florida is better, and the thin crust around here is better, IMO, but that is probably because so damn many New Yorkers live down here, which is a drawback on it's own...

It takes them at least 20-25 minutes when ordering one at the restaurant.

Just want to say do not get Reginellis Detroit-style deep dish. It was a very sad imitation.
