Went camping once and literally used creek water to boil crawfish. That said, it was actual clean, drinkable water, but still.

Used one of these at a tailgate boil before. If we could have found a way to get water out of the mens room sink, we would have tried that first.

Of course, one of my Baws is an engineer, so

Anyway, I found a drinking water safe hose without the help of you clowns. Enjoy your lead soaked crawfish suckers.

Mother of God.

We used to chew pellets out of our pellet guns as kids.

The water to the house is fine. The water hoses are not regulated by drinking water standards. About 30% of water hoses have unsafe lead levels. Anyway, I don't want my kids eating crawfish boiled in water full of lead. We boil them pretty often.

Dude, my dad used to boil crawfish in a zinc coated tub. We somehow survived. Little lead ain't gonna hurt anyone. Builds character!

Because of this thread I will only water my garden with the ped water to make baby formula. I would hate for one of my precious little babies to get lead poisoning from a cucumber because daddy was a little lazy. Thank you for opening my eyes

Why don't I post a picture, and y'all tell me. J/k...I might be dumb enough to ask a question on here, but I ain't that dumb.

Seriously though, if the extent of your wife's craziness is that she loves your children and wants them to be healthy, you could do a lot worse, dude.

Not really an accurate assessment, but I seriously doubt that's the extent of it.

It really doesnt matter. Ive never seen a woman boil crawfish that came out worth a damn. That is what makes me think this is a troll. No man in their right mind would stand idly by and allow a woman to tote 10+ pots of water out on their head to fill up a pot. If they did, then they all deserve to be ridiculed as much as they have been in this thread.

Why the hell would he carry it? He thinks I'm being crazy. If I want to do it myself, he tells me to knock myself out. It doesn't affect him either way, and he finds it fairly amusing.

I just bought a new hose this spring and the water that comes out smells worse than the butadiene at my plant.

I gotta say, the heavy metal/pesticide/herbicide residue in the crawfish fat should worry you far more than any lead leached from the "hosepipe". Scavenging bottom feeders who are attracted to rotting anything & are caught recreationally using raw beef spleen....they don't exactly live their lives in purified water eating fish flakes.
