Cooking bacon in the oven is faster, easier, cleaner, and better tasting.

If I can I’ll go the rest of my life without frying bacon in a pan again.
Cooking bacon in the oven is superior in every single way: taste, easiness, consistency, time, clean up, and your house doesn’t smell like bacon grease all day after.
I’ll die on this hill

What's your process. I'm interested in learning your ways.

It’s the cleanest, best pleasure.

Correct.
Only down side is it’s more difficult to save the grease

I've heard that elsewhere..... Do tell!
Also heard you can make better "boiled eggs" in the oven as well...

Had it this morning. Perfectly crispy.
Use parchment paper in your baking sheet

Do it in an air fryer, even faster

Miss me with that oven bacon

It’s everything you said except faster. It’s WAY WAY quicker on the skillet. It can be done in the skillet before the oven preheats

Parchment paper or foil
Place in cold oven
Set oven to 375
Come back in 10-15 and flip. Cook another 5 minutes.

Get some good quality parchment paper to line a cookie sheet. The cheap stuff lets grease through. Reynolds is good and has a grid on it for cutting.
Preheat to 400.
Cut the paper, lay it on top of the sheet and lay the bacon out on the paper.
Cook at 400 for 15-20 minutes. Watch the color of the bacon to see when it’s done.
I rotate the cookie sheet 10 minutes in to counter cool spots in the oven.
Cleanup is just throwing out the parchment when the grease cools and hardens.

1) Take a plate and put paper towels on it and spread the bacon out.
2) Pop in microwave for 2 minutes.
3) Take out and put in pan to finish to doneness you want.
Easy, clean and fast and you can get it done perfectly how you like.

- Turn oven on to 375
- lay bacon side by side on baking tray with either parchment paper or tin foil (I use foil)
-put bacon in oven, flip after 10 mins
- 5 mins later it’s done
With foil just gotta remove it carefully so it doesn’t stick
Bonus with foil is just let it cool then ball up the foil and throw it away, your baking sheet is still clean!
You can also put the bacon in while the over preheats no reason to wait

I cook bacon 5 times a week. Thiccc bacon (ie Boar's Head Butcher Cut 20oz packs).
Bacon in the oven at 400-425° takes 20-25 min to cook.
Bacon in a skillet takes 10 - 15 min to cook (w/ a bacon press to evenly cook).
Oven might seem like less of a mess, but at least in the skillet you can use a splatter screen to keep oil from getting everywhere.
And all the bacon remnants make your eggs taste great.

Crack eggs into a muffin pan. Season with salt/pepper. Bake for about 15 minutes on 350. I’ll never fry eggs again. This is too easy.
ETA: I’ll still fry an egg in bacon grease occasionally for breakfast and for an egg sandwich , but oven baked eggs are great for English muffins or biscuits. And it’s so
Much easier and less messy than frying.
Oven baked bacon is legit for all the reasons the OP listed.

Or just buy a bacon rack for the pan.
