I am a big fan of Folger's 1850 Trailblazer but I think they stopped making it. I can't get it from Walmart anymore. I bought some Community Signature Blend but it is a little more strong and bitter than I prefer. Does anyone have some other recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Is this anything like "it is a little stronger"?

You might try Gavalia Traditional Roast. I think it's whole bean only. I sometimes get it when it's on sale and though I like darker roasts, the Gevalia is a nice change up that isn't lacking in flavor or body.

I heard the company is getting out of the “DSD - direct store delivery” game and will sell through the warehouses of retailers with no company merchandising.

I can’t see retailers taking the time & effort needed to keep things straight on the shelf with all Community’s flavors.

Which one?

Strong = too much coffee.
Butter = not enough coffee.

That's the truth. Man, I can't stomach that. My wife bought some thinking it would different and good. I told her....you aren't going to like that. Sure enough one pot and that was it.

If wanting Community, their Breakfast Blend is much lighter.
I've gotten to where I enjoy lighter roast more these days. I used to always be a dark/French roast guy. Lighter roast actually have more caffeine.

Another coffee brand that isn't bad at all, it's ground fine and has good flavor is Seattles Best. It's not expensive but it is solid.

Yes, I was trying think of the other brand that is solid and not expensive.
Gevalia med or light roast is a solid brew.
Lavazza is another good one.

So my run of the mill daily work coffee are usually Seattles Best, Gevalia, Lavazza. I'll throw in a Black Rifle company "Just Black" or Silencer Smooth in there.
On the weekends I grind my own and do pour over coffee. For that I'll spend a good bit more on beans.

I was hardcore community ever since I started drinking coffee.

Someone on here mentioned Folgers Black Silk (roasted in New Orleans).

I switched and dont plan to go back.

Its good and dark without the bitterness.

Excellent coffee.
