I recently started drinking coffee, and didn't really have a preference. I noticed that the coffe at work tastes OK, but not as good as some of the coffee house coffee. I don't have a preferred brand, yet. They are all tasting soomewhat similar to me.
I even like McDonald's coffee, for that matter, but I am willing to pay a little extra to help out a local shop owner. I'm hoping my pallet improves over time. In the meantime, I will continue to drink a variety of stuff. Seems like there are coffee houses on every corner these days...

While CC is a step up from the over roasted shite at starbucks, its still not great coffee....its just good.
If you want really good coffee, you'll have to go with Coava, Intelligencia, or La Colombe. They all roast the beans based upon the bean flavors from the region they were grown.
CC's and most other mass coffee roasters over roast the beans so they can keep the flavors consistent... burnt.

I grew up drinkin Comm Between Roast.
Switched to Cafe Special a few years ago.
My fav now is Duncan Donuts regular. Much more flavor for my taste...

I had the Saints blend at da corner store the other morning.(black, no sugar) It was strong, but I found it bitter. To me it's comparable to Mello Joy

Community's Brazil Santos is my go to. Whole bean, coarse grind 4 mins in the French press. Smooth, fruity notes and no acidity after taste.
