I go straight cold brew 9/10 times, mostly out of convenience

but I do enjoy the process of grinding beans, heating water, the bloom, the pour over, and that entire process

I just don't have the time most days

I prefer cold. I think I am going to try my hand at nitro. Hot coffee only in the winter but do prefer espresso over hot.

Hot. For some reason I like hot drinks. Hot tea, hot chocolate, and coffee.

I grind beans and use a French press every morning. I love it.

If you are ever on the Northshore, check out The English Tea Room in Covington.

Like all of them, but have been on a nitro kick lately. Even got some corny kegs and a nitrogen tank for the house to have it on tap at home.

That is what I am also about to do. Where did you get your nitro equipment?

Same. I've made my own cold brew in the past but lately I just stop and get some at a local shop just for convenience sake. I usually do a bit of h&h and a packet or two of Splenda in my cold brew, though. Unless it's the Japanese cold brew.

I'm not a huge fan of any hot drinks so if I have hot coffee it's usually going to be pour over with a nice Ethiopian bean.

Got everything from beverage elements. Big thing I found to help is a carbonation cap with air stone on the end. It really helps force the nitrogen into the coffee. I make 3 gallon batches, which is a bitch to filter. Otherwise everything is pretty easy to manage.

I get my 22 cu ft nitrogen bottle filled at Louisiana fire extinguisher in baton rouge for $15. Make sure your connections are air tight and you dont drain your nitrogen the 1st week like me. Soapy water works great to check them. Any other questions let me know and I'll pass on what I have learned.

It can be 100 degrees outside and I still want my coffee piping hot

Cold coffee just doesn’t work for me

Nitro for me. Would love to get a mini keg and try to do some at home (buying is so expensive) but need more fridge space.

Fresh coarse grind. 5 scoops in the French Press. Stir. 4 minute rest. Press. Pour.

I like the process

like I said, 9/10 times I'm drinking cold brew, either a can of High Brew over ice or homemade cold brew

but some mornings, especially when I wake up before every one else and the house is quiet, there is just something therapeutic going through the entire process for that really good cup of coffee
