Wife and I are going to city Pork for first time tomorrow (we live I Jackson, la.). Question we have is one location better than the other? If so why?
Thanks. We went to Cochon Butcher in N.O. and really enjoyed it .

Less "better" than simply completely different.

3 (off Siegan) is a blue collar lunch spot. It's good for what it is, but nothing to write home about.

2 (Jefferson) is the strongest overall. Very good menu for both lunch and dinner. Dinner can be a bit loud inside.

1 (off Perkins). Very good brunch/lunch spot as one would expect from a location putting itself forward as a deli. Not as strong as 2 for dinner, and the dishes are generally a bit more simple.

City Pork and Cochon Butcher are not comparable.

And they shouldn't have added "Pie" to the end of the name unless they could make really good pies. Their pie crust is not good at all. The Cubano was good at Perkins, but have been underwhelmed with their food at the Jefferson & Siegen locations.

Used to be the only "good" restaurant in BR

Now that its fallen off, BR really doesnt have anything to offer restaurant wise

He's a moron just ignore.

I eat breakfast at the Pie one and it's just that. A decent omelet. I do find the other two have fallen off but yes that Cubano is very good.

Go to the Jefferson location. I'm particularly partial to the sous vide duck at the moment. The Masa Oysters are probably my favorite app.

I used to be a vocal advocate for their sticky wings, but they've done what seemingly every place that sells chicken does at some point: decrease the size of the wings, so now they're overcooked and the breading to meat ratio is thrown off.

If we're pining for arancini, why aren't we going to Gino's?

In at Jefferson location eating a late lunch. The food has been very good. We got the spring rolls, the pastrami sandwiches, the local green salad and split the short ribs. All of it was really good, the gravy on the short ribs was a little heavy for the summer heat but no other complaints...

I hit the Jefferson location at least once a month for lunch and the wife likes the brunch there as well.
I haven't noticed a "drop off" in food. It kinda is what it is, but the specials are always good. They have a decent tap selection as well for a restaurant. I like the oyster app as well.

Not sure who Casey is, but isn't Ryan still the chef? Pretty sure I saw him a few weeks ago.
