On iberville?

Heading back home after jazz fest and he suggested it for lunch.

Looked at the menu and it looks legit, but I've never heard of the place.

Really? I mean..its a pretty popular place. It will be packed, just warning you.

One of the best neighborhood style places in NOLA, imo.

I really like the cuban sandwich there.

Katie's on Diners Drive Ins and Dives

Very good food.

I really enjoy the Crawfish Beignet. It's a better version of Jazz Fest crawfish bread, served with jalapeno aioli.

They have a seafood pizza with blanched oysters, crab meat, jumbo grilled shrimp, and peppers....to die for.

If it were in my neighborhood, I'd hit it up more often. I think it's a really nice neighborhood joint. Far superior to, say, Joey K's which is actually in my neighborhood.

Absolutely wrong and terrible description of Katie's. Katie's is nothing like bar food.

Cheese fries, onion rings, burgers, po boys, seafood platters and such isn't standard bar food in the greater New Orleans area?

I usually get the Legend po-poy. It's pretty salty, and greasy, but hits the spot if you're hungover.

After looking at the menu, it's way past bar food in a major way. Has some bar type food most of the menu is not. Wish I could drive there in less than 10 hours

Good food, not nearly worth the inevitable wait.
