You need to give this place another chance. Wife and I have been twice and it was great both times!

Unless I'm missing a running joke, do you mean the Jefferson Lounge? Patio Lounge/Pour House are quite the dive.

The Patio Lounge is the bar next to Chai Thai Lao. I think he was just replying because them calling it nameless.

It's a great bar.

It’s also one of the oldest bars, if not the oldest, in Baton Rouge. I think it’s been open since the late 50 or early 60s.

Surprised Charcoal Chicken at the corner of Perkins & Staring still going. Place seems like a death trap for any restaurant but at least they made the year.

Haven't been but I've heard/read nothing but good things about Brasas Peru. Hope they make it.

The Iron Fork place that was there before was a victim of poor execution. Trying to be a to go plate lunch place with that large of a footprint was a bad idea.

Need to try

Soulshine, 144 W. Chimes St.
The Shed, 7477 Burbank Drive
Opie's Baton Rouge, 7112 Florida Blvd.

I really liked these places. The Shed’s food was mediocre, but it was a really fun place to hang out. Soulshine and Opie’s had great food.

Did this really open, or did they just move from their location on Burbank and Gardere?

I see that they also included a few restaurants that reopened, but they didn’t list Jasmine’s on the Bayou that reopened in January.
