What are your favorite food/drink places along the way? Restaurants, bars, butcher shops, interesting sights, etc.

I like your list but have very recently replaced Peto’s with In-Law’s in Iowa. Their fried ribs and chicken cracklins - OMG!

Your normal stops in Scott for boudin.

Last trip back from New Orleans we stopped in Lafayette at a place called Bread & Circus Provisions, found it to be better than average food.
