So Bojangles has re-materialized in this market. I seem to remember them in the early 80's being here but never patronized them.

Are they any good?

Good but not fantastic. It'll fill up an empty belly and do some with some taste but not by a bunch. Better than KFC, not as good in my opinion as Popeyes and if you can find a good Churches Chicken not as good as that either (good churches few and far between though). Breakfast biscuits are good when fresh and almost unedible when they reach room temperature...very similar to Hardee's biscuits back when they were very good. A Bojangles steak and cheese biscuit, a cup of coffee and a coke will make you regular as collard greens...serious foundation for a good cleansing of a morning....

Slowjangles is pretty good. Their breakfast biscuits and Bo Rounds are legit.

Just plan on being in line for 30 mins and order 20% more than you need because they’ll get your order wrong.

Do yourself a huge favor and get one for lunch today.

There is a Popeyes in the neighborhood That I drive by on a regular basis. There is always a line in the drive through.. And we know that line doesn't move quickly. That's just the way it is.. I have heard nothing but good things about the sandwich. I will get it one day.

If both restaurants are run equally well. I’d take Popeyes.

But we don’t live in that world. So I’d opt for Bojangles 9/10 times because the folks running it have some brain cells typically.

Not many Popeyes around here. 10-1 bojangles vs everything else.

They opened one up in Monroe several months back. I just get their chicken biscuits everytime. I think they’re better than CFA’s chicken biscuits and they serve them all day too.

Bojangles does a very good breakfast. Popeyes does better fried chicken.

Noticed that, too. The one here is actually in Monroe on Louisville ave. It's front of Office Depot. Not a great area.

Bojangles is about like Churches

Bojangles has that same nasty rubber chicken like Church's and KFC have. Basically the same places.

Popeyes biscuits are much better. The chicken is ok, still rather Popeyes. The tea and seasoned fries are good. They do have a good breakfast line.

They are best known for their breakfast. They are not too bad, if you know what to get..

All the Popeyes I've had lately has sucked. Hardly seasoned at. Always had a good experience with Bojangles. Bojangles chicken is what Popeyes used to be, plus free iced tea with your order, and better fries and biscuits.

I think it comes down to each individual Popeye's because the one in Dutchtown does pretty good. But we're lucky to have Leader's Chicken in Ascension Parish which blows all the others out the water.

There are lots of Bojangles in North Carolina. The one near us in metro Atlanta closed. It was actually pretty decent. Popeyes might have better chicken, but their service is so crappy I'd go to Bojangles anyway.
