Not those ripoffs that come in a can at the gas station though stay away from those

Growing up, okra was either fried, boiled (whole), or in gumbo.

I don't boil it anymore, but I often steam it.

I can take or leave them. I'll crush a styrofoam container if they're in front of me, but I won't seek them out. Spicy only. None of that plain salted BS.

I absolutely love them but lack self control around them, so almost never get any.

Love them. Boil every year. Put some in the freezer. A fan of boiled okra as well.

An acquaintance from my time back in Birmingham has made a good business with his two locations in BHM and TUSC.

Original and tasty-flavored boiled peanuts combined with cold local beer. Yes please.
