Exactly. Why complicate it? Cover it with a couple of damp paper towels and put it in the microwave.

For any type of BBQ, I find a 2-pot steamer setup is the best way to reheat. Boil your water on the bottom pot, put your meat on the top basket pot, cover, and remove after about 8-10 minutes.

Leftovers are for the poors. Feed it to the dog and DoorDash some Ruth’s Chris.

Or sous vide it, of course.

For pulled pork, I do like throwing it on the griddle to reheat. Gives it a little sear.

Brisket on the other hand is sous vide.

Pulled pork in a skillet works well for me

I usually do the skillet method at home, works really well. I freeze portions in vac bags then throw it in a pot of water on the stove when I'm camping. Not as good as the skillet since it doesn't crunch up but wayyyyy better than microwaving.

If frozen, let it thaw, then warm it up in a skillet.

Then throw some tortillas in the skillet to heat up, Add the Q, some cole slaw, and some sweet heat BBQ sauce and have some great tacos.

Pulled pork is fine in the microwave.

I throw beef in the oven, however.

Cover with wet paper towel and put in microwave on very low heat, like 4-5. May take 3-4 minutes total.

I would either go real low oven like 225° wrapped in foil.
Second choice would be real low intermittent microwave like 30 second bursts at power six until about right
