Went a few times when it first came to BR and thought it was decent, nothing special. Haven’t been in a couple years, thinking about giving it another try for lunch this week. What’s the best thing on the menu in your opinion?

The whole menu is mediocre, but I eat there out of convenience as it’s so damn close to my office.
—green goddess salad if you like avocado
—Thai chicken salad
—creamy tomato or French onion soup
If it didn’t offer rapid pickup, I’d prob never eat there. This reminds me that I have a free pastry reward.

The cookies...their Italian sandwich isn't bad if you must.

I get irrationally upset every time Panera catering shows up to a lunch meeting I attend, wasted calories.

Chain cafe type restaurants (or whatever you call them) are collectively pretty bad. Panera Bread, Jason's Deli, etc. Overpriced sandwiches on horrible bread and low quality soups and salads. A grocery store deli like Publix will outclass them in quality and be cheaper. Go compare the $7 full sub from Publix to whatever sandwich Panera offers. Absolutely no contest.

Never eaten there for lunch or dinner, but I don't mind their Asiago Cheese bagel for breakfast.

1)no Publix in LA, MS, TX
2)I'd give a decided edge to Panera over the average premade refrigerator case sandwich from most grocery stores.
3)Panera's bread isn't the greatest, but it is light years better than Subway or Jimmy Johns.
