Agreed. Also - Panera isn’t really healthy. Many of their sandwiches are 800-900 calories. For reference, a Big Mac is 550.

Their salads are all 500+.

Kills me when a place markets itself as healthy when it is actually pretty difficult to make healthy choices there.

Panera's cold brew coffee can be really legit when it's made right. Only thing is.. it's hit or miss. They make it waaaaaaaay too strong sometimes.

Otherwise, it's just overpriced, "meh" food.

I would get coffee/bagels a good bit a couple years as it was very close to a job site. I thought overall the rewards program was pretty good about giving you free stuff/coupons but other than that and the coffee/bagels, not much to write home about.

I eat their salads a fair amount. Okay. Kind of expensive for what you get.

Their steak sandwich is okay. I do like their order app and direct pick up. And they are right by my gym.

Panera is kind of expensive for what it is but it is consistent. You say most of it isn’t healthy but a lot of it is high protein low calorie if you know the menu and choose wisely. Better than most fast food places. You can also get a relatively healthy meal at McDs or Taco Bell if done correctly.

Are there better, cheaper, options? Yes. Healthier? Yes. Panera is a convenient, widely located, and consistent healthy option if you order correctly. Which is easy to do with the calories on the menu. I am always surprised by how pricey it is though.

Agreed that it always seems expensive. As for unheallthy, it’s all in what you choose. I like can buy half salads and sandwiches..,,so,if you’re trying to stay within a certain calorie count, you can do so. Website and app have complete nutritional info, easily accessible
