I like Fuji, it's close to the Kenner/Metairie line.

Shogun is good if you sit at the sushi bar.

People have been raving about Daiwa in metry lately.

Akira in Fat City. It has an all-you-can-eat menu, but with a twist - it's not a buffet. Anything you want is made to your order.

This x100. I guess I can't technically call it sushi since that refers to rice and I didn't have a single bite of rice served to me, but it is the best raw fish in town by far.

Luvi is great, but not really sushi.

My wife and I eat at Daiwa in Metairie once a week now.

We have spent a lot of time in japan and the west coast...its the best

Honorable mention to kanno...the omakase is fun and inventive

I love Luvi, but damn the guy taking pictures of his food at a restaurant.

Love it there, one of my favorites right now. Great to go with a few people and get the raw and cooked feed me and a few other dishes.

You get 5 or 6 of those plates over the course of the meal.
