Use to be able to count on Cubans in BR years ago.
Now All I seem to find are same thing I can pick up at Albertsons.

Dream of days of Lot"B" and OF Birthday Bourbons.
Heck I tack Rockhill Farms nowdays,

You will learn to drink Jack and like it, the stuff you used to like is no longer obtainable for the average person

Maybe Calandro’s on Seigen and Perkins?? I haven’t been to Martin Wine Cellar in a while either - they might have something you’re interested in

I prefer Acquistapace’s in Covington but only if I’m going that way

And I usually go to Dorignac’s in Metairie if I’m down there

Now there is a name I have not heard in a long time. Brings me back to Jackson, MS, where a trip to Jitney #14 was a treat. Eudora Welty's Jitney

In New Orleans Martins Wine Cellar has a nice selection. In Baton Rouge Alexanders Highland Market has a pretty good selection.

My go to in NO. They have a pantry with a lot of opened bottles and will let you taste if there is something you are interested in.

In the New Orleans area:
1 and 1A - Martin Wine Cellar and Total Wine. Then Dorignac's.
