A&W off the tap in a frosty glass mug at the old A&W in Huntsville. I loved that place.

Just picked up some Virgil's this morning.
Sweet Jesus.

Bought a 4 pack of Virgil's today, apparently it's a hit as the wife and kid have killed it already...

Next time I go to World Market or Whole Foods I'll get some Virgil's

I found a four-pack at Kroger, if you have one of those nearby.
It's different but still outstanding. I love Abita, but Virgil's has an awesome blend of spices that makes it...old-school.
Abita is more of a sweeter root beer that most people are used to, but this Virgil's stuff may not make it through the night at my house.
to my fellow Auburn man for pointing me in the right direction.

I LOVE root beer--not a big fan of Virgil's, and Abita is nice but a bit too sweet. Best ever for me is Sprecher, but it's hard to find
I took a tour of Sprecher a long time ago. They make the root beer when they are in between beer brewing. I have seen it in Menards in Illinois.

All root beer is delicious unless it's named "mug".
I don't usually stray outside of the comfort of Barq's and Abita. But I was picking up some quick things at Bet-R the other day and a drink from the past caught my eye. Dad's. I know someone on here already showed a bottle of it. But I seriously haven't seen a Dad's since I was a kid. Maybe I've just been missing them but everyone I talked to agreed that they haven't seen them around much anymore.
So i bought it. So damn good. Right now b/c of Nostalgia I have it #1. Bust bes belee i'm going get some Virgil's, me.

You and BeefSupreme give the Virgil's a shot. You won't go back to Barq or IBC or A&W.

Yeah, I came here to see if anyone had posted Zatarains Root Beer extract. Good stuff!
Grew up drinking that stuff.

IBC and A&W are my favorites. Used to like Fanta. Also BJ's Brewhouse makes their own and it's pretty good.

used to be an IBC man, may have to give Virgil a shot ....
of course grandma made some at home that was to die for .....

BJs Brewery brews their own root beer. Best I've ever had.

i want to say Zea's used to make their own root beer and that was my favorite. It still is pretty good. Idk if they still make it.
Abita is real good too.
