As much as I hate to admit it, I have always enjoyed Mahony's root beer ham po boy. It's not my favorite or the best, but it is good.

And you know this how?

Shrimp: Guy's or R&O's
Roast beef: Magazine
Ham: Mahoney's
Hot Sausage: Guy's
Special: Chickem Parm at Parenton's

I haven't tried Bear's, think Parkway is very solid.

Best over all Po-Boy Shops in no order:

Guy's
Radosta's
Parenton's
Parkway
Johnny's
Mahoney's

I never tried their RB and I didn't like the stuff I got the last two times I went there, I may give it another try.

You got to go for lunch doing the week, I don't think the chef is there at other times. The red beans and rice on Monday's are the best I've ever had.

The best fried shrimp poboy is at Guy's.

Negative on that. I went two weeks ago cause of people bragging on that place. Average shrimp po-boy at best. Nasty little place to sit and eat too.
