I have too many I like to have a favorite shop, although Bears is damn good. I can walk there from my office so I eat there a good amount. If they used better bread it would easily be my favorite shop.

Parkway is up there on my list. Big fan of Radosta's as well. Dimartino's is easily the worst

Depends on what you are looking for. Parkway and Radosta's are great. R&O's has awesome poboys. Mahoney's and Domilise's have good options.

There are at least 20 places you can get a really good poboy in New Orleans.

With Destin a wash for me this week, my wife and I may spend a couple of days in Nola instead. Am I hearing that Parkway is the best bet for a shrimp poboy?

I'm craving a good fried shrimp poboy right now.

Parkway has great fried shrimp. I also like Domilise's seafood (although some people don't like Domilise's at all). R&O's has a really good shrimp poboy that I've been favoring over their roast beef recently. Radosta's, in Old Metairie, is good.

Don't think you could go wrong with any of those choices. And there are numerous others that are good options too. But if you've never been to Parkway or R&O's, those are the two I'd recommend.

meh, used to be best in the city. the new parasols roast beef is better than tracy's now i believe. i think parkway's roast beef is better than both of them.
