goodwood used to have some, would imagine they still do. I got mine online. Someone told me about a shop around Prairieville that makes great one but can't remember the name. Maybe someone knows?

I like Galvez. If you don't see the exact size you want, they will order it for you.

Order you an Hebert’s Cajun stove from Heberts Machine Services in Rayne. Order you a 5 gal pot. That’ll cook you enough to feed 30 people a jam easily. 40-50 if you have sides.

For the record…. I am not an Hebert.

However, I have owned one of the stoves since its inception. The only thing I have had to change is the burner itself. It’s got to be at least 10-15 years old. I got it as a gift with the pot from my parents.

I think they make them for bigger pots now too. But, 5 gallons feeds a chuck of people.

Bought my 10 gallon setup at Shenandoah hardware. They sell the R&R setup with the roller stands. Not cheap but buy once cry once. My advise is get the wind proof stand and not the 3 leg. You will be much happier.

This is what mine looks like. I beleive I paid $549 for the setup.

Definitely check out Lamendolas in Gonzales. It’s a grocery store but has everything jambalaya there including the ingredients. Not in BR but worth a look. Cheaper too than BR

They have a really great selection for a grocery store and I agree, they have the best prices. I shopped Galvez and then Lamendolas. Galvez obviously has more but they have a good overlap of exact models and Lamendolas is significantly cheaper.

excellent selection.

Don't let that baw sell you a 15. Even if it's cheaper. A 10 is the way to go. If you need a 15... You really need a 20.

If you've never had a big pot, be aware it will likely have a little slag or casting debris adhered to it. Remove all of that. Wash it very well with soap and water. Rinse really well. Then heat it to dry before you season it.

That preseasoning on the big pots is trash.
