Amazon Prime two day free shipping.

You can't beat it unless you get done le cruset(sp) on clearance at TJ Maxx or Marshall's if y'all have those down there.

But seriously, amazon.

get one at a pawn shop. don't waste the money on a new one.

get one that's already cured for half the price

There is a place on Jefferson Hwy that has scratch and dent sales. By buddy bought a 5 Gallon for $20. Only thing "wrong" with it is that theres a little extra chunk of metal on the side that he had to grind off.

These are going for much more than buying new.

Well what are you wasting time on here for? You should be loading up on half priced antique cast iron and reselling it.

There was a time when I prowled pawn shops to buy them. Now days, they charge as much or more than retail.

If you can get a good price, the pawn shop is great. Be careful that you don't pay more than you should there. If it is cheaper at Wally World, that is where I would buy it.

A wally world lodge skillet will outlive you and your kids if properly cared for.

Look at these before you buy cast iron, another poster prompted me to buy one and I have been very happy...

I think the enamel coated lodge Dutch oven and skillet are probably the best value out there.

If you're gonna use it a bunch, get the thicker coated one.

I'm about to pull the trigger on one of those.

What's the advantage over cast iron? Weight?

Pretty damn heavy, but it is smooth on the inside. I really like it. I picked up the largest
