Guess they didn't stop in at Manchu or McHardy's.

Seems like we would be a very hard state to do this in. There's quality fried chicken everywhere you fall into

Tennessee was Chandler's in Knoxville. I'd vote that one down, a few better hole in the walls in Nooga I would go to over that. All the smaller Nashville Hot Chicken places too.

came to post this. This place is the definition of a "hole in the wall".

Its not really a hole in the wall..

But the dinner bell in McComb, MS has the best fried chicken i've ever put in my mouth.

Perfection.

+10000%!! What I found funny about them choosing Brenda's is its the only one in the list that they didn't actually show a pic of the food. Of some the others states the Rogers place in Arkansas looked like it would be delicious.

I was surprised, they didn't pick a NOLA joint LOL! Most of the time on these state related food poles on MSN its always a place in NOLA.

Without clicking thru a slide show I bet Ole Country Store in Lorman is the Mississippi selection. It’s real good fried chicken. But it’s not worthy of the hype imho.

I was born, raised, and still live in Winnfield. These guys have no idea what they are talking about. Their chicken is basically unseasoned Southern Classic. Their dirty rice and corn fritters are pretty good. Pretty much the only thing I every get from there anymore is a burger and milkshake.

I also have no idea when they stopped by and made it through the drive thru in a hurry. They are notorious for letting people order 20-30 piece chicken meals at the window and sit there until its ready. No pull around or come back in a few minutes.

Most people around here have gotten to the point of driving 15-20 minutes to Jonesboro to get southern classic or popeyes because the chicken has gotten so bad at Brenda's.

Yep, I expected to see Willie Mae's Scotch House for La. Guess it doesn't qualify as a "Hole in the wall" type place.
