I had a Frostop Lot-o-Burger (on Cleary across from Krispy Kreme) last night. Still a great burger.

That street is Clearview Pkwy.

Swamp Room isn't the same since they closed and re-opened. Supposedly, their cooks went to Step Brother's and never went back. The burger at Step Brother's is good.

Yes, went by Joes on Vets yesterday and place is closed - couldn't stay staffed.

When was this?

Sometime last summer, before Ida. It's a shame that I've had problems there because the location is so convenient if you're headed in or out of town on I-10. The Bud's on Vets had been closed since Ida wrecked their roof, too, so the best quick option in that area has been Frostop on Clearview.

Second to last time there I got food poisoning

Last time I was there (and will be the last time I go)

The service was awful and extremely rude.

And I was just picking up burgers to go.

Will never go there again.

I used to frequent the original Ground Patti on David Drive near Veterans. They been there a very long time and always had good burgers over the years. It's been a while since I've been there. I assume their food is still good but I'm sure the prices have gone up and probably with reduced portions like everybody else.

Not sure when you came but we make the sauce in house each week. Same recipe since 2016. BUT supply chain issues have been a nightmare so even using a different brand of ketchup in the bbq sauce recipe will change the taste unfortunately. You probably caught us on a week we had to use a different brand of ketchup or chili sauce. If that happens we try to cut it with whatever original sauce we have left so the change is less noticeable but it doesn’t always taste right and kind of out of our hands.

Never used a bottled bbq sauce though in case you ever questioned it.

If i had to it wouldn’t be KC masterpiece. Sweet baby rays all day.
