With the temperatures rising, I've been on a bit of a gose kick. Just finished a fourpack of Terrapin Watermelon, so I wanted to ask the board what are some other (at least somewhat) readily available gose. I'm in BR if anyone has location specific info, but I don't want to limit the thread that much.

That Terrapin one is one of the better options available. I rarely recommend these 2 breweries to anyone, but Abita To-Gose is pretty good, and Tin Roof just started canning theirs and it's not bad at all. Do yourself a favor and try to get some Urban South Cucumber Lime. Not in BR stores, but might be the best gose I've ever had, including some of the big boys.

I didn't realize they were distributing that. Had a crowler this week and I think it's excellent. Try to find that one.

I love their Watermelon Gose. I don't like watermelon or goses, but I really love that beer. Perfect for a hot day.

Probably Terrapin Watermelon.

Try to find Westbrook, they sell in AL.

Anderson Valley G&T is another good one semi local.

Gose beers have really hit the spot for me lately. The only local one I've tried is Tin Roof's. It's very good.

Quick question. How do you pronounce gose? I always said it like ghost without the t, but I was told recently that it was go-ze.

Whole Foods in BR has the Terrapin Watermelon. I imagine the one in Lafayette might, as well.

If you are digging the gose style then you'd probably like a berliner wiesse. Souther Prohibtion makes a dry hopped berliner that you may be able to find. Excellent beers for these sweltering summer days.
