I visited my parents this summer, and my mom served up a grilled Kirkland burger. Wasn't bad at all. She and my dad are on different diets and she said she liked the convenience of being able to make just one when needed.

Is this the one you can get at Restaurant Depot? I think it's the same brand and I'd recommend it.

Correct answer. Just cook them correctly. When they mushroom, flip them, when they mushroom again take them off, they should be done. They make 3 sizes. A 4 oz, 5.3 oz and an 8 oz. I prefer the 5.3. I also add a little creole seasoning to them.

The size we use for a high school booster club's activities...a little Tony's, garlic powder and Greek seasoning and they are good-to-go.

I typically buy ground angus beef and make my own for a crowd of 4-6. The first time I had to cooked for a larger crowd I called the same store the day before to ask if they can pre-make the patties and they said no problem.
Call around and ask if they can make fresh pre-made patties.

I call shenanigans. You don't have five minutes to mix ground beef with other stuff?

Maybe he has to cook a shite ton of them. More than 15-20 people .... I'm running to Caro to pick up a case a of TnT.

Very good point. I was thinking more of cooking 4 or 5 for dinner. No shenanigans if bulk burgers are necessary.

I think that using frozen patties works great for tailgating. We usually use either bubba burgers or the lsu/saints branded cheapo frozen patties.
Throw a little Tony's and add in a few drinks; nobody cares that they are eating crappy burgers.

If you're near Baton Rouge, get a case of frozen patties at Tramonte's. I've cooked 'em to rave reviews.

I've heard that Costco has some grass fed beef burgers that are good, but I didn't see them the one time I remembered to look. Anybody know?

Winn Dixie sells an 8 count pack of 1/4 lb pre-made angus beef non-frozen burger patties. They are really good. I can't say that I've ever had a frozen patty that I'd want again.
