Easiest will be Off the Hook. Best probably Parrains or Mike Anderson's.

Isn't that the old Captain D's location?

The best I have had recently was at Cafe Americain and Elsie's.

These are more "higher end," but you can order to go:

- Mike Anderson's
- Duke's
- Don's Seafood
- Parrain's
- Phil's Oyster Bar
- Roux 61

Used to sling salads and fry shite at the O’Neal location. Utterly shocked the main one is still around. They ever update the menu?

I’ve never been, but if this online menu is correct, looks like one of the only places in town who have not yet changed their prices due to inflation.

Believe it or not but the best fried shrimp in Baton Rouge is at Serop's Cafe (Not avaialble at Serop'sExpress) across from Pennington on Perkins. They say best in town on the menu and they arent lying. Large plump shrimp with perfect batter to meat ratio.

Elsie's isn't known for their fried seafood, but they do REALLY good fried shrimp, fish, and oysters!

And Off the Hook, for "fast food," is pretty acceptable.
