The best I've ever had was Gus's.
And my grandmas. She used to fry some damn good chicken then use the grease to make a gravy for the mashed potatoes.

Last week, I ate some fried chicken from Chaps. A little place on Harrison Ave in NOLA. it was pretty damned good.

Well if we’re naming all over I’ll put Chicken Shack out there.

This is my deal with them. They aren't the best, but they are very good and always consistent.

Babe's is the best around here (north Ft Worth and DFW in general)

After living in Frisco for a little over a year, this I agree with. If you're in the Mecca/North LA area, Southern Classic is tough to beat. One thing I miss from living there

I've always been a fan of the gas station Krispy Krunchy chicken.

Is there any such thing as bad fried chicken? I mean, even the fried chicken you get in TV dinners has its charms. And just about all of the local grocery store chains around here sell pretty good fried chicken (Winn Dixie, Albertson's, Rouses, Target)

Not crazy about Rouse's fried chicken..Sometimes it's too salty and old oil tasting..
Breaux Mart has the best grocery store fried chicken..Not overly salty and crunchy.

Gus' is over rated. Homegrown has a really good fried chicken biscuit, and fried chicken livers. I would rather Hattie B's (nashville hot) than Gus' all day. Mary Macs is good. Table and main is very good too. Id honestly rather have Popeyes or Publix than Gus'.

I ate Gus's for the first time in 10 years last week while visiting Memphis. It is still the best fried chicken I have ever had.
You are just looking for attention with your Popeyes and Publix BS.
It's silly.
