i dont care for the tots that much..then again i dont really like tots in general.
i can tell you why i like the burger...the bun has just a light dusting of flour on it and i think its been toasted or has a hint of butter on it..the lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions are extremely generous..the patty itself has a great flavor even without the other stuff..and when you have some mayo in there and jalapenos..you got a seriously tasty sandwich.

this thread just convinced me to go to sonic and get a burger, so i did

This is worth bumping the topic.
Finally had a chance to try a Backyard Burger. That is one kick-arse burger. I don't see why anyone would go to BK or Mickey D's with a drive-through like this available. Only downside is that you're dealing with a little "mall" type traffic on Siegen.

Tried Whataburger in Destin a few weeks ago. I don't get all the love. Pretty bland and unmemorable. My vote will still be Wendy's for the flavor of the beef, but lately the buns have been looking mighty weak. I'll put Sonic up there right under Wendy's for flavor. But I have a feeling that Back Yard Burger might trump them all. Got to try and find one. Love me some burgers.

I like Whataburger because of their mustard - just seems better than other places. Also, their ketchup for the fries is the best.
I will agree with others who have posted love for Burger Chef of days gone by. My mom used to take me to the one in Lafayette once a week when I was 5 or 6. Great memories because the food was so good.

I haven't eaten fast food in a couple of years, but from what I remember, Backyard Burger was my favorite.
